ELITE POLICY
GET AN ELITE BIB
Here are the conditions:
Women:
- Index > 650 (bib for a fee but guaranteed until M-1)
- Index > 700 (bib offered and guaranteed until M-1)
- Index > 750 (bib offered and guaranteed until M-1, special welcome conditions)
Men:
- Index > 800 (paid bib but guaranteed until 1 month prior.)
- Index > 850 (bib offered and guaranteed until 1 month prior.)
- Index > 900 (bib offered and guaranteed until 1 month prior, with special welcome conditions)
To request an elite bib, please complete the form:
Prizes (SaintéLyon format only)
- 1st place M/F --> 5000€
- 2nd place M/F --> 2000€
- 3rd place M/F --> 1000€
- 4th place M/F --> 500€
- 5th place M/F --> 300€
- 6th place M/F --> 200€
Start Pen (valid for SaintéLyon and SaintExpress formats)
The SOLO Elite Pen
- Men: 800 UTMB Index
- Women: 650 UTMB Index
A SOLO Performance SAS
- Men: between 799 and 650 UTMB Index
- Women: between 649 and 550 UTMB Index
For relays, the UTMB Index of the best relay runner is considered, under the same access conditions as for SOLO runners.
Important: By default, if your index meets the criteria, you will be assigned to the Performance SAS. If it does not meet the criteria but you still wish to access it, the request must be made on the registration form, which you can revisit at any time via your registration confirmation email. Acceptance conditions are described below.
USEFUL INFORMATION
There's no need to provide your UTMB Index during registration; we will collect it for you.
Therefore, please be careful with the information you provide.
Additionally, to account for potential score variations between your registration and the start of the race, the organization will use your UTMB Index from October 2026.
This will automatically appear on your runner profile when you pick up your bib. If applicable, you can pick up an identification token that will allow you to access these SAS.
For those who have no trail running experience but are comfortable with road running, you can provide us with the main points of your athletic achievements during registration. These will be reviewed to determine whether or not to grant you access to the different SAS.
Important:
- ITRA or BeTrail scores are not considered (UTMB Index only)
- Key achievements = maximum 3 most significant results (e.g., 2h32 at the Biarritz Marathon // 3rd place at the Trail des ... which does not share its results with the UTMB index...)
- Finishing any trail, triathlon, marathon, or swimrun is not taken into account, nor is a time exceeding 9:00 (Men) or 10:00 (Women) in a previous SaintéLyon, or a time from a SaintéLyon prior to 2020
RÉGLEMENT ÉLITES
ASSISTANCE
L'assistance des Élites est autorisée uniquement sur les points de ravitaillement de Sainte-Catherine et Soucieu-en-Jarrest.
Une seule personne par athlète sera autorisée sur la zone de ravitaillement prévu à cet effet, sur présentation d'une accréditation. Attention, un seul véhicule par athlète est autorisé sur les parkings prévus par l'organisation.
Il est interdit d'être assisté ou ravitaillé en dehors de ces 2 zones de ravitaillement. Si un coureur enfreint les règles, les directeurs de course et/ou les chefs de poste peuvent appliquer immédiatement une pénalité.
